Discover Gun Dogs
Organised by the Sporting Irish Water Spaniel Club.
Have you ever wondered if a pointer really does point? What does a setter do? Does a flat-coated retriever have a flat coat? When is a spaniel not a spaniel?
Find the answers to these and many more of your questions in the Discover Gundogs Pavilion. You can meet many of the breeds that belong to the Kennel Club’s Gundog Group. The handlers look forward to meeting you and will be happy for you to get up close and personal with the dogs.
If you are thinking about changing breed to accompany you in the shooting field or just looking for a pet, this is the place to start. Handlers and their dogs will be attendance from 0900-1730 (approx) each day.
You will also be able to see some of the breeds working in the Working Gundog Arena. Throughout the day, there will be demonstrations by different breeds with a training demonstration featuring many of the gundog breeds ending the programme.

The Carters Fund for Health and Rescue
The carters fund for health and rescue is a groupe of like minded people from various places in England,Essex, Lancashire, Yorkshire
Merseyside and Lincolnshire,who have various breeds of working dogs .We have Bernese Mountain Dogs,Bouvier des Flandres, Bullmastifed, Leonbergers, Newfoundlands and Rottweiler who demonstrate how dogs were employed before the invention of the motor vehicle. Today in many parts of Europe dogs are still used to pull carts.
We raise money for aninal charities,these include,rescue,reaserch and welfare,all money raised goes to support animals in need,visit our stall to learn more. .
