Katy Cropper - Sheepdog Display with Ducks & Geese
Katy, winner of the BBC's 'One man & his dog' & the UK's outstanding sheepdog handler returns for the first time in five years after devoting her time to being a full time mum to her beautiful daughter.
She has written her autobiography entitled 'A Dog's Life in the Dales' and the BBC have also filmed her in 'A year in the life of a shepherdess'.
Ben Potter Falconry Display
The flying displays have between 6-8 birds of prey including: eagles, vultures and owls.

Angling Display
Roger Beck ~
Roger has fly-fished for thirty five years, is a qualified fly fishing coach, runs a fly fishing tuition and guiding service called "Beckfisher" and also writes the angling column in the Yorkshire Post www.beckfisher.co.uk.
Charles Jardine ~
Charles Jardine ~ Fisherman Extraordinaire. The demonstration will include fly casting in all it's part in a fun and engaging manner and Charles often uses his labrador,Midge as part of the team to retrieve 'dummy' salmon. The demonstration also involves using several rods simultaneously and casting round corners.
Mounted Games Association of Great Britain
MGA inter county fast & furious horseback games. Inspired by HRH, Prince Philip, the association provides one of the fastest moving equestrian arena displays in the country. Six teams of young riders on fast ponies compete in a series of obstacle and relay type races. The speed of the ponies and the agility and skill of the riders are breathtaking and combine to produce a colourful, all action arena display. Two fabulous teams from Yorkshire compete against themselves and their inter county rivals. Come and support your favourite Yorkshire Team. www.mgagb.co.uk
Vale of York Polo Club
The Vale of York Polo Club are organising the Polo match's which can be seen daily in the Main Arena.
The first recorded game of Polo took place in 600BC between Turkomans and
Persians (The Turkomans won). Today, upwards of 77 countries play Polo. It was an Olympic sport from 1900 to 1939 and has now been recognised again by the international Olympic Committee. All Clubs are governed by The Hurlingham Polo Association who is responsible for the regulations and rules under which the game is played.
The Vale of York Polo Club is set in the beautiful Grade 1 listed Houghton Hall Estate Grounds with easy access from York, Leeds and Harrogate. The stables and all surrounding buildings were built in 1761 and are located in a mature parkland setting with the magnificent Houghton Hall as a backdrop.
The landscape grounds include extensive forestry and lakes and offer unparalleled riding.

Organised by the Sporting Irish Water Spaniel Club.
- Gundog Display
Working gundog demonstration showing the various stages of training from young dogs through to more experienced dogs.
It will be Irish Water Spaniels participating.

Featuring various Gun Dog breeds.
Chris Green Wildfowler Display
Chris Green learnt the ways of wildfowling from the age of 11. He built his own punt gun for wildfowling which he still uses today and makes his living today by designing & manufacturing goose, duck & pigeon decoys for pest controllers.
John Halsted Gun Dog Display
Simon Whitehead's Pakefield Ferrets Display
Simon Whitehead’s Pakefield Ferrets will be demonstrating why the ferret, the ferreter’s dog and the ferreter himself are fast becoming a more sought after pest controller in the countryside and towns of the UK.
